My Wr121 teacher told us to write a comparison/contrast paper for class but didn’t assign a topic, so I decided to stick to stuff I know about. I was going to include AWD and then Front, Mid and Rear mounted engines but I decided it probably wouldn’t be good to write a full book.

2-3. Writing is not my strong suit so it takes me a while to get my ideas down on paper.

This would be my format:
Opening (Thesis claim at the end, say which you prefer)
Paragraph on negatives of which you are against
Paragraph on positives of that which you like
Paragraph on positives the other has over your choice
Closing with restatement of thesis.

I find that if I just write as if I was talking to someone instead of composing a report, it comes out well. Then you just go back and edit and flesh it out.

mine is laid out more like this:
Advantage of one
Advantage of the other
advantage of the first
advantage of the second
closing.
this is a rough draft I’m writing in a day I’ll probably rewrite it next week when the final copy is due.
